At Dungavel House IRC we currently have a number of vacancies for the role of Detainee Custody Officer.

It is a challenging yet rewarding role where you can really make a difference to people's quality of life. Together with the ability to deal with vulnerable people, you will be empathetic, able to accept the position that detainees of different nationalities and cultures are in, but try to make the situation as acceptable for them as possible.
Experience is not necessary but what is important is the right attitude and desire to succeed. In return you'll receive excellent training and you'll also enjoy our commitment to staff development as you grow both personally and professionally.

If successful you will be invited to a one-day assessment day approximately three weeks after the closing date. The format of this is obviously subject to changeable Covid-19 restrictions.
